Today my wife and I received our new Palm Centro phones from Sprint via UPS. She got the “old” Centro in pink. I got the newer model in green.

Anyway, new phones. I decided to set up the Palm Desktop software so that I could sync my contacts, calendar, etc. with MS Outlook. Everything appeared to go smoothly. Then the software didn’t want to let me connect to my phone properly. It seems that the CD Sprint sent was lacking a program for Vista compatibility. So I tried a reinstall with a newer version downloaded from Palm’s site and got this message:

That doesn’t look good

Interestingly enough, everything worked perfectly after this little incident, for those curious.
